Q: What does water damage restoration cost?

A: This is the most frequently asked question we get. Water damage comes in many forms with a wide range of total costs, but in most cases, your homeowner's insurance will cover it.

 

Q: I have never had to file an insurance claim before, how does it work?

A: Most of our customers haven't. We do it every day, that is why we handle your claim for you and communicate with you every step of the way.

We ensure that if you need to file a claim, you understand how the process works and we communicate directly with your insurance provider to make certain they understand and will cover the full scope of your damage.

Q: What does my insurance cover?

A: In most cases, the insurance will cover most, if not all, of the damages. They are obligated to bring your dwelling back to “pre-loss” condition.

Q: How does my deductible work?

A: The deductible is taken out of the repair/reconstruction portion of your claim during the payout.

Q: Why is it so important to act quickly with water damage?

A:  Water has a "wicking" property, meaning dry areas attract water molecules.  So, as you delay, the size of the area of damage increases.   Why do you care?   Damage repair takes longer, costs more, and insurance companies may not cover the additional damage costs.

Q: After the dry out has been completed who will be performing the repairs?

ALet one of our certified reconstruction partners handle the repairs for you! Similar to us, they bill directly to your insurance as well.

HOW WATER DAMAGE REPAIR WORKS

When you call Five Star Restoration with a water damage problem, we respond quickly. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 

Once we inspect the damage, we get to work implementing the proper equipment to dry out and remove all water damaged areas.

 

During this time, we will contact your insurance provider to communicate all details. Once all water damage is removed and everything is dry, the repair process can begin.
